In fact, Europe is a historical construction that is constantly changing depending on each social and cultural circumstances and contexts. In global times, what does it mean to be an European in a continent as hybrid and transnational space as Europe. It has always been so in the history of Europe. How can the immigrants with various cultural backgrounds find their new identity in Europe? How does the European identity politics operate? This paper attempts to answer these questions. As a case study, it examines Turkish immigrants in Germany.
