A purpose of this study is to present a method of expressing designed hanboks by fashion illustration, analyzing a dang-eui and applying principles and elements of design.
A method of researching this study has been to illustrate designed hanbok by applying elements of the wearing dang-eui and skirt, analyzing principles and elements of these design. As a result, the designed hanbok can be expressed definitely and systematically through principles and elements of the design. Specially, this study has presented a fashion-illustration that a spirit of tradition is expressed naturally in hanbok, so help the Korean who enjoy dressing in hanbok realize succession of traditional costume properly.
In conclusion, achievement of this study expect to help make global design idea motive through analyzing and dividing an korean costume, and dressing in designed hanbok comfortably and stylishly help modern people make an opportunity easily experiencing our tradition.
