The aim of this study is analyzing the characteristics of the Care Home Worker"s occupational accidents, and proposing for the prevention of these problems. Care Home Worker cares of patients with advanced diseases such as Bedridden and dementia, and can also have many risks when performs tasks such as moving patients and bathing them that has had sequences of overworkings and improper positions. Since the long-term care insurance system was introduced in korea, the numbers of the care home worker" occupational accidents has increased rapidly. In 2008, the number of the care home workers" occupational accidents was only 167, but in 2010 the number had increased to 580 which was about 247% extremely lager than before. In this study, since the long-term care insurance system firstly has been established in 2008, has analyzed about the characteristics of the Care Home Worker"s occupational accidents to being very detailed for 3 years, and proposes the prevention of occupational accidents. As the result, this process is expected to contribute to the promotion to establishing the policy, and the prevention of the care home worker"s occupational accidents.
