Necessity and objective of the present study is to provide basic data needed for the activities of Taekwondo missionary demonstration team through analyzing differences in personality formation resulting from youth activities of the team and suggest an activation plan for the Taekwondo missionary demonstration team. As a study subject, 400 youth demonstration team members of a membership studio belonging to a Taekwondo missionary organization were selected using the convenient sampling method, asked to reply to 400 copies of a structured questionnaire with self-administration, and 356 of them excluding 44 copies with inappropriate data were used for an analysis. In the present study, the analysis was performed using SPSS Win(Version 17.0) as follows. First, an exploratory factor analysis was conducted to verify the validity of the questionnaire composition, and Cronbach’s acoefficient was calculated for a reliability analysis. Secondly, one-way ANOVA was executed to test the differences in personality formation dependent on the participation formation in the Taekwondo missionary demonstration team. Test results at the significance level of p<.05 for verification of differences in personality formation according to the activity form of the youth Taekwondo missionary demonstration team through the above-mentioned study method are as follows. First, test results of differences in personality formation according to participation periods showed statistically significant differences only in social factors for personality formation including such terms as considerations (F=7.707), reliability(F=14.627), initiative(F=3.l36), and no statistically significant differences in other terms. The post analysis results indicated a high value for demonstration team members who participated in the activities for a period of 2~4 years. Secondly, test results of differences in personality formation according to participation frequencies showed statistically significant differences only in an emotional factor for personality formation such as self confidence(F=3.277) and in a life attitude factor such as self management(F=4.347), and no statistically significant differences in other terms. The post analysis revealed the highest differences for self confidence of 2~3 days and for self confidence of 1 day. Thirdly, test results of differences in personality formation according to participation intensities showed statistically significant differences only in a social factor for personality formation of consideration(F=7.335), and no statistically significant differences in other terms. The post analysis showed the highest difference for considerations of 1 hour. In view of the above results, test results of differences in personality formation dependent on the forms of participation did not indicate statistically significant differences in most terms. Activity periods, frequencies and intensities of the missionary demonstration team are not considered to greatly affect the personality formation for youths. Therefore, an application of training methods will be required to enhance the qualification of personality formation for Taekwondo missionary demonstration teams.
