The Japanese Empire sentenced an banishment and sent them to Daemado.
Choi, Ik-hyun resisted the compulsion of the chief guard of Daemado with fasting when he forced Choi, Ik-hyun to wear black clothes and bobbed hair. Yim, Byeongchan and Hongju righteous soldier also joined Choi, Ik-hyun"s protest by going through with hunger strike, finally causing the chief guard to recant his order.
