This research has analyzed the relation between the characteristics of the Housing Redevelopment zone and business trial stages which have become a target of 74 districts in the 6 cities of Gyeonggido among the Housing Redevelopment zone at "2010 Urban and residential environment the basic plan". It is to suggest the most practicable selection of the Housing Redevelopment zone.
For which, related areal references and preliminary studies have been considered by Factor Analysis and factorial analysis on the business trial stages and the characteristics of zones through the collected study materials. The factors of size, density, areal characteristics, and infrastructures have been drawn as final outcome.
A close relationship among them is clearly showing in the zones which are on their first trial stage as a result of analyzing the significant connection of the four factors and the trial stages.
The prevention of slumism and all the other possible residential conflicts is expected by an effective selection of Housing Redevelopment zone through this research. Hopefully it will also serve as a significant preliminary data for making policy of activation on Housing Redevelopment Project
