HD technology the most important change to bring in short film production education in college is great budget curtailment. So, it’s trend that HD premier is turning by large majority college’s film practice education’s system. Therefore, each colleges must reflect aesthetic and technological difference of SD and HD in practice education now. And comprehension about difference of bust shot in existing 4:3 frame and bust shot in 16:9 frame may have to recognize newly. For example, extension of transverse of HD causes excellent power of expression increase of mass, line, ton, action, depth etc... of screen that Herbert Zettle emphasizes. When composition elements are arranged by way that is different from existing to keep object’s action effectively, target’s perspective may revive. Could express the foreground and background to be deeply contrasting light and dark part by increase of contrast ratio. Increase possibility esthetics enemy too. Also, according to development trend HD camera, understanding for lens necessarily must be educated. Shallow depth of HD lens must keep in mind to lens selection when students film. Is subject that necessity of additional education by these change can no longer slow down in college now by fast spread of HD tool. Because of this reason, need access media aesthetics’s education in college,especially new esthetics enemy for HD.
