Report Errors
In this paper we propose the shadow detection method using ratio image and reconstruction method using digital inpainting technique in the low resolution image like golf course aerial image. Inpainting technique is used to reconstruct a small damaged portions of an image. We consider three kinds of inpainting technique: Navier Strokes equation based method, fast marching method and exemplar based method. And we compare three methods in terms of accuracy and speed. In this paper we choose inpainting method based on the fast matching since it is relatively more accurate and faster than two other methods. We also speed up the fast marching inpainting method using quad tree. As the result of experiments, we achieved a significant improvement of 1400 % in processing speed in the best case.
