본 연구에서는 SF6 가수분해를 위하여 사용되는 γ-Al₂O₃의 안정성을 개선하기 위하여 조촉매를 조사하였다. SF<SUB>6</SUB>의 가수분해과정에서 γ-Al₂O₃의 결정상은 α상으로 전환된다. 여러 가지 금속산화물이 조촉매로 적용되었으며, 1, 5, 10 wt%의 Ga, Mg, Zn가 함침법에 의해서 γ-Al₂O₃의 표면에 담지 되었다. 특히, 산화아연이 담지된 촉매가 높은 활성을 가지고 이들의 결정상 변화가 없음을 촉매활성실험과 XRD분석으로 확인되었다. 이들 결과로부터 SF<SUB>6</SUB>의 촉매분해반응에서 ZnO를 촉매의 표면에 담지하여 γ-Al₂O₃의 촉매적 안정성이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.
In order to improve the stability of γ-Al₂O₃ on hydrolysis of SF<SUB>6</SUB>, the catalytic promoters were investigated in this study. The crystal phase of γ-Al₂O₃ is transformed to their α-phase during hydrolysis of SF<SUB>6</SUB>. Various metal oxides were applied as the promoter material that is Ga, Mg, and Zn and the promoter of 1, 5, and 10 wt% was impregnated over γ-Al₂O₃ by the impregnation method. Specially, it were confirmed in the catalytic activity tests and XRD analysis that ZnO/γ-Al₂O₃ catalyst had the high activity for decomposition of SF<SUB>6</SUB> by catalytic hydrolysis and the crystal phase of ZnO promoted γ-Al₂O₃ was not transformed. From these results, it could be known that the stability of γ-Al₂O₃ is enhanced with the catalytic promotion of ZnO impregnated over the surface of catalyst.
