Test procedure or standards for HD vehicle"s fuel economy and Emission analysis are not yet published in worldwide. HD vehicles have a lot of variation models in spite of same engine and powertrain. In this study, we have performed HD vehicle"s fuel economy and emission test with HD chassis dynamometer and CVS using HWFET cycle.
Although RW(reference weight) is same, test results are very different as payload conditions which are real payload on test vehicle and curb vehicle weight(no payload). There are about 30% differences because of bouncing or slip between tire and dynamometer"s roller. In order to minimize the error of test results as payload on test vehicle, the procedure or method of adaption payload condition on vehicle must be pre defined.
