This study is to analyze impact of social capital(trust, regulation, network) and sprit(diligence, self-reliance, cooperation) of Saemaul Undong in case of Gumi City. Below are details regarding the results. First, factors between social capital and Saemaul Undong was reliable as Cronbach’s alpha were highly appeared(above 0.60). Second, it was impact social capital on sprit of Saemaul Undong in analyzing cause and effect. Highest factor of these is regulation. Third, When analyzing between diligence and self-reliance, cooperation appeared all in right(+).
In conclusion, Sprit of Saemaul Undong in the rural region reflected to high level including social capital. Saemaul Undong is useful in providing as community development program to solve problems in environment, elderly, and teenager appeared in process of social change and end poverty in developing countries.
