The purpose of this very research lies in the improvement of the social awareness that the occupation as a caddie entails as well as the golf club users" perceptions toward images of a caddie by examining the effects of perceptions of golf club users" toward a caddie"s image on the service satisfaction.
In order to achieve this purpose, the total of 300 golf club users from 5 different golf clubs, that are located within Gyeonsang Province are selected as research subjects. The purposive sampling method was applied for this very research. In addition, survey questions were carried out with the self-administration method. Among the recollected surveys, only 284 surveys were considered the valid sample in this research.
Following results, have been extracted from the research based on the previously stated research methods and the outcomes from various data analysis. Regarding the effect of the perceived caddie images of golf club users on the level of service satisfaction, the professionalism of a caddie, which is considered a sub-variable of a caddie image, is found to affect the level of service satisfaction, whereas the occupation as a caddie itself had no effect on the level of service satisfaction. In regards to the social characteristic of a caddie, it was found that it does not affect the level of service satisfaction.
