The purpose of the study is to develop substitutes for cement, and is to derive the most optimal mixing of inorganic composites as basic data by comparing physical properties of pastes and mortars based on mixing ratios of ternary system inorganic composites which accelerate industrial by-products such as ground granulated blast-furnace slag, fly ash and red mud.
As the results of experiments, it was shown that the flowing was increased when mixing ratio of BFS and RM was increased. Setting time in inorganic composites was much faster than that of cement. Compressive strength was increased when mixing ratio of BFS and RM was increased. The length change was decreased when mixing ratio of FA and RM was increased. The flowing was greatly increased based on change in addition percentage of Na₂SiO₃and quick setting phenomenon appeared in setting time as total amount alkali accelerator. In terms of compressive strength, strength expression is getting bigger when addition percentage of Na₂SiO₃was increased. Result of experiments of inorganic composites, mortar showed the similar results of paste. The most optimal mixing ratio of inorganic composites in the range of this study was B6:F2:R2(BFS:FA:RM). In this case, addition percentage of alkali accelerator was NaOH : 5% and Na₂SiO₃: 6%.
