The purpose of this study is to empirically find out the impact of goal orientation and job characteristics of marine sports coaches on the organizational readiness for learning.
The scuba-diving coaches who had visited “2012 Seoul mtemational Sports & Leisure Exhibition” held in COEX at Samseong-dong, Seoul Metropolis, from February 23rd to 26th of 2012 had been set up as the population for this study.
The samples had been chosen by Convenience Sampling Method. Total 390 questionnaire sheets had been handed out and returned. Among them, 348 sheets had been used as valid samples; while 42 sheets had been excluded since some content had been omitted or the answers had been insincere.
The questionnaire sheet had been structured based on Self Evaluation and Reporting Method. The statistical analysis methods used for the data analysis were; frequency analysis, factorial analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis.
Following conclusions had been drawn by above study methods and procedure.
First, the goal orientation of marine sports coaches has impact on the job characteristics.
Second, the goal orientation of marine sports coaches has impact on the organizational readiness for learning.
Third, the job characteristics of marine sports coaches have partial impact on the organizational readiness for learning.
