Switch is just a component which makes circuit wire would be opened and shorted for controlling signal and current. However, on the system side, it is one of the important parts having conditions to make the system operate properly. Only a few systems have fault detecting function, because realistic limitations like cost and complexity of the circuits are bound to follow. In this paper, fault detecting N.O / N.C Switch Modules were introduced. By adding resistors on the switch circuit, the systems show different voltage levels in the various switch conditions such as normal, open circuit or short to circuit. It make ECU can judge that the switch condition is fault or not. As a result, the modules allow the system to be more flexible and economical as well as to be more stable and reliable.
