The purpose of this study is to re-examine the architectural character of the Gangdong (江東) twenty-four stones relics, and to consider their usage. The fuel hole and the chimney fuel that appeared during the excavation must be related to the remains as they are found in the same layer with the Gangdong twenty-four stones relics. However, it is unreasonable to consider the Gangdong twenty-four stones relics as the same building as that where the fuel hole and the chimney fuel were located. This is because if they were the same buildings, the fuel hole and the chimney fuel should extend to the inside of the twenty-four stones relics, but they do not. In particular, it is known that the Gangdong twenty-four stones relics has an upper risen architectural feature in that they come to the ground about 70 centimeters high. Therefore, the Gangdong twenty-four stones relics and the place where the fuel hole and the chimney fuel were found should be regarded as different buildings. It is believed that the building where the fuel hole and the chimney fuel were located was an attached building which had a small kitchen for cooking separately from the Gangdong twenty-four stones relics. There are various opinions about the usage of the Gangdong twenty-four stones relics, but the view that they were the upper risen storehouse is the most persuasive considering the situation of the surroundings and the architectural features of the remains.
