The culture in Korea has highly similar parts with China, just because the human environment of the character, religions and ideas. However due to the geographical, topography, climate and other natural conditions, there are still highly different culture between these two countries. The traditional architecture is an important part of traditional culture, which was influenced by the traditional culture, and also reflect it. Therefore by the influence of similar cultural atmosphere and different natural environment, there are also have many similarities and differences on the traditional architecture between these two countries. Not only the traditional architecture, but also the traditional decoration and traditional pattern are influenced by the similar cultural atmosphere and different natural environment. Depending on this situation, it generates highly similarities and differences. This study compared of the decoration elements between Korea and China, especially though the comparisons and researches of tradition patten, finding out the similarities and differences on traditional decoration of two countries, which further understanding the humanistic ideas and historical significance contained by the traditional decoration.
