Solar water heating system is one of the seven green campus items installed at the Gangneung campus of Gangneung-Wonju National University. The solar water heating system is composed of two types of solar collectors, 4 storage tanks and monitoring equipments. Fixed and azimuth tracking solar collectors were installed to collect solar insolation. Solar heat collected by using two different types of solar collectors were calculated from the monitored storage tank temperatures, and the results show that the solar heat collected by the azimuth tracking solar collector is about 21% greater than that by the fixed solar collector.
