This study considered excessive causative expressions of ‘noun-sikida’ Seeing in many writings of being communicated in reality, the aspect of overly using ‘noun-sikida’ can be easily confirmed. For example, the lexical meaning of ‘intensify’ includes ‘「1」make influence or power stronger and tougher, 「2」enhance level or degree further.’ Accordingly, it is being indicated the syntactic causative expression in a meaning of 「1」and the morphological causative expression by causative affix in a meaning of 「2」. Accordingly, it comes to be undesirable expression due to the overlapping of causative expression given replacing "intensify" with "make it strong."
This study extracted excessive causative expressions of ‘noun-sikida’ by analyzing corpus, and considered its vocabulary, type, and use frequency. The excessive causative expressions of ‘noun-sikida’ were being indicated in case of being included ‘-ge hada’ in a meaning of ‘noun-sikida’ in case of being included causative affixes such as ‘-i-, -hi-, -ri-, -gi-, -u-, -gu-, -chu-,’ and in case of being included ‘-sikida’
The results of this study seem to be likely capable of offering a ground for the findings as saying that ‘-hada’ and ‘-sikida’ have the same meaning, and of contributing further even to Korean language education.

이 연구는 ‘명사-시키다’의 과잉 사동 표현을 고찰하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 한국어에서 ‘명사-하다’와 ‘명사-되다’의 관련성은 한국어 동사 어휘부를 구성하는 중요한 합성법으로 많은 연구와 논의가 되어 왔다. 반면에 유사한 결합 형식을 보이는 ‘명사-시키다’ 구성은 ‘명사-하다’와 비교하여 그다지 체계적인 관심의 대상이 되지 못하였다. 따라서 이 연구는 ‘명사-하다’와 ‘명사-시키다’의 대응 관계 속에서 나타나는 ‘명사-시키다’의 과잉 사동 표현을 살펴보았다.
‘명사-하다’형 어휘 중에는 그 뜻 자체에 사동 의미가 나타나는 어휘들이 있는데, ‘명사-하다’의 사전적 뜻풀이가 ‘-게 하다’의 통사적 사동 표현으로 나타나는 경우, 사동 접사를 활용한 파생적 사동 표현으로 나타나는 경우, ‘-시키다’의 합성적 사동 표현으로 나타나는 경우, 사동 의미를 지닌 어휘적 사동 표현으로 나타나는 경우 등이 있었다. 사동 의미가 있는 ‘명사-하다’를 ‘-시키다’로 교체할 경우 사동의 기제가 이중으로 작용하여 사동 표현의 과잉 현상을 보이게 되는 것이다. ‘명사-시키다’는 ‘연계·확대시키다, 심화·발전시키다, 유지·향상시키다, 조성·심화시키다’ 등과 같이 더 복잡한 형태로도 과잉 사동 표현이 나타나고 있었다.
‘명사-시키다’의 과잉 사동 표현은 ‘명사-하다’와 ‘명사-시키다’가 동일한 논항구조 속에서 동의 관계를 이룬다는 입장에서 나타나는 ‘-시키다’의 잉여성 문제를 설명해 줄 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 또한 사전 기술에 있어서도 표제어를 선정하고 뜻풀이를 정밀화하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있으며, 더 나아가 국어 교육에도 기여할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.
