This article aim to study why the 2000s time warp of the public narrative drama that attracted attention again recently and how the public accept this. To this end, I analyzed narrative structure of specific work which is 〈Bubujingxin(步步?心)〉 and also analyzed the different types of discussion from experts. And through this, we confirmed that the reason why the time slip drama as s cultural product are welcomed again in today’s Chinese society is to be a little more accessible to the normal life of the general public and have acceptance patterns.
More information confirms the following facts. First, the time warp drama received attention is that the focus is moved from historical facts to the daily life of modern people. As we saw through analysis of the narrative structure of the work, the text creates story from the ancient and modern culture clash. However, when entering into the composition of a single plot, patriarchal father, father’s instinctive love, brotherhood, love between a man and a woman, the love of husband and wife, including the daily life of modern people in the stories are easy to be found. After all, these stories met the psychological demand of the viewers. Secondly, while time slip drama moving the focus of the story, Chinese society shows accommodate various aspects than just interest, didn’t simply move to the daily life without any change in the focus of the story. Today, Chinese drama is no longer part of the national politic but enough to deliver everyday life ‘fun’ away from the political framework. In the analysis of this 〈Bubujingxin(步步?心)〉 has daily life episode rather than the presence of the socialism. In Chinese society today regards these fun as a commercial application, history, and women. In short, from the cultural point of view, these facts tell us that the Chinese popular culture has been grown today. And these popular culture are aim for ‘generalization’ out of the political regulatory framework for socialist . More over the generalization where unlike the traditional socialist period has implications for cultural pluralism. In other words, the contents are still created for political propaganda but this text is just one of the text type, as it’s coding a variety of cultural products and various ideology, a creative, variety content are being produced and consumption, and also appear various acceptance pattern.
