This article attempts to show the history of science fiction(Si-Fi) and reveal scientist’s anti-life ethics in Frankenstein as a science fiction. The basic premise of the article is that Frankenstein is the origin of bio-science problems and one of the most exemplary texts in English Si-Fi literature. In investigating the subject, first, the article tells what Si-Fi is, and traces the history of Si-Fi. Second, it reveals doctor Frankenstein’s anti-life ethics in a concrete way from the perspective of five codes of ethics in life science by which scientists must abide. Five codes are Communism, Universalism, Disinterestedness, Value-Neutral, Duty and Responsibility.
