In comparison with Lee Gyu-Bo’s sightseeing record of Jeonju area, his whereabouts and the aspect of Jeonju-Mok(全州牧) could be traced to restore. He was busy carrying out his official duties when he worked in Jeonju-Mok for about one year and three months. It might mean that Gyesugwan(界首官) had a lot of work to be responsible for supervising his districts, and communities revolved around it. This didn’t mean that Jeonju-Mok took on all the public administration of the Younggun(領郡)’s areas within the jurisdiction. Jeonju-Mok was in charge of the trials and the related business of several counties.
The sightseeing record of Jeonju-Mok written by Lee Gyu-Bo also supplies a considerable information on Buddhist temples of this area. While Yoga Buddhism and Avatamska Buddhism of Doctrine Buddhism prevailed in Jeonju-Mok zone, Meditation Buddhism was insignificant. Especially, the whole areas of Mt. Byeonsan, Mt. Seonunsan, Mt. Duseungsan, and Mt. Moaksan were the shrine of Yoga Buddhism or Maitreya faith forming the belt of Yoga Buddhism, and this might have been caused by Jinpyo and his disciples’ influence.
