Kim Geuk-gi left many works living in his hometown, East Capital. Through them we can guess what types the remains of Silla were in Koryeo. His sightseeing in Gyeongsang Province was limited to jurisdictional Boundaries of East Capital, so Gyesugwan(界首官) might be primary living zone of communities. He left many poems themed Euiju which entered government service in and West Capital which he visited. His poems themed South Capital were not found. It showed he thought highly of West Capital, but he ignored South Capital.
He finished his term of Euiju office and then went to Prime Capital, Gaegyeong. He worked for the central government and was sent to the Jeolla province to make a tour of it from spring to autumn. With the aftermath of Jeonju rebellion, he didn’t go into Jeonju-Mok and the counties under its direct control. He returned to Gaegyeong via Gongju, Jukju, Geumju and Gwaju. He also worked for the northeastern districts, and based on Hwaju, patrolled Goseong, Myeongju and Samcheok. He might die right after he returned from Jin(金) as an envoy.
