This paper investigates the grammatical category, especially the parts of speech of adverbs modifying nouns in Korean. And add to this, it aims to analysis distinctive features of these words and structures of the modifier-modificand constructions. With regard to the language universal categories of parts of speech, words modifying nouns are typically classified as adjective, but in this study adverbs modifying nouns are classified as adverb category based on features of these words. Features of adverbs modifying nouns as follows: [particle], [modifying], [scale], [degree], [aspect]. And the modifying constructions are different between adverbs modifying nouns and adjectives modifying nouns.
