The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of combined exercise program on body composition and metabolism hormone according to fat mass and obesity association gen(FTO gene) polymorphism in obese male college students. The subjects when it is performed as aerobic and resistance exercise with 55~70%HRR and 60~70%IRM, respectively as karvonen and Kuramoto & Payne method. BMI 27 of males college students in I City W university were selected as subjects. The subjects were divided into the two group ; a AA+ AT gene allele(10 students) and a TT gene allele(12 students). The variables were calculated by two-way ANOVA with repeated measures(SPSS win ver. 16.0). The results obtained from this study were as follows: First, In the change of body weight, fat mass, and BMI of body composition was lower significantly the TT gene group than the AA+AT gene group as exercise treatment period(p<.001), but in lean body was higher the TT gene group than the AA+AT gene group. Second, In the change of insulin hormone was lower significantly the TT gene group than the AA+AT gene group as exercise treatment period(p<.001). In the change of cortisol and IGF-1 was higher significantly the TT gene group than the AA+AT gene group as exercise treatment period.
