This paper presents the steep slope reinforcement technique using soil improvement material for reinforced steep slopes though laboratory scale model tests. As following results of laboratory scale model test, the proposed slope reinforcement technique using soil improvement material showed the sufficient possibility to be constructed as reinforced steep slope. The improved soil facing(case3) shows the sufficient load capacity increasing effect compaerd with non improved soil facing(case2). The technique shows the stable ratio(0.4%) of horizontal deformation to slope height in the surface loading 98kPa.
