This article reviews the significance and limitation of the current curricula of university and special education institution for professional manpower training in the plant construction engineering area. The curriculum of university focuses on the elementary and essential engineering education, especially for civil area, while it has a weak practical education for plant engineering. The special education institution grant funded by the government concentrates on a short job training coarse, which results in a lack of fundamentally technological competence. For plant construction engineering education dealing with fundamental theories and practical course, an alternative program composed of fundamental, principal, and intensive courses is proposed through the connection of curricula of university and special education institution. This program would be expected to be linked with straight forward recruiting in native and foreign plant construction field.
