An internal combustion engine has using type of belt drive structurally about components which was obtained via a rotary motion and it was to be a factor one of the superfluous energy consumptions that components were driven without necessary function with engine drive. Leading advanced countries are attracting maximization of fuel efficient through the various fuel efficiency regulations and CO2 regulations and one of techniques that its increasing of fuel, and it is expecting reduction effect of improving fuels and CO2 from 2% to 3% as applying automobile. A coolant for water pump is the key component to retain moderate heat for engine which it is forcibly circulated as active loop of cooling system including water jets and radiators for engine and to shorten life for drive losses because it is a disadvantage in terms of fuel efficiencies and emissions for CO2 that engine warm-ups is effected as a disadvantage factor.
In this study, after installation electronic clutch without design changes to apply for mechanical water pump as part to optimize for cooling system, the thermal losses of engine are to minimize and while the engine starts the cold, the fuel efficiency was improved that"s reduced the time for worm-up.
