Seoul announced ‘2030 Seoul Plan’ of which the main idea was to change urban spatial structure into multinuclear structure on the basis of 5-daily life zone(생활권), and to establish 3-civic center(도심), 7-wide area center(광역중심). However as urban spatial structure has a great importance on urban planning, the citizen’s daily living status should be considered carefully. In this regard, this study attempted to examine whether spatial structure presented in ‘2030 Seoul Plan’ reflects properly the real citizen’s daily life by analyzing the quantitative data such as pedestrian flow and O-D data. For the spatial interaction analysis, this study employed ‘social network analysis’ which can explore the central areas. The results demonstrated that 5-daily life zone and 3-civic center would reflect regional characteristics well, while 7-wide area center do not sufficiently reflect on the reality. However, as urban spatial structure should be established considering their various background such as history, society, culture even politics, our results don"t limit to modify the "2030 Seoul Plan", but emphasize the importance of monitoring and analyzing citizen’s dynamic daily life before the confirmation of urban spatial structure.
