This paper is focused on analyzing the level of hotel accounting information systems that is established in the hotel companies in Korea, and testing the output characteristics for the accounting information according to the each level of hotel accounting information systems, and also testing the level difference of hotel accounting information systems according to hotel grade(super deluxe, deluxe, first grade), management style(local brand hotel, franchise hotel), business and resort hotel. And then after this paper is aimed to present desirable ways on the operation of the hotel accounting information systems. The author used Ward`s method of hierarchical cluster analysis of the SPSS++WIN 10.0 package for the empirical analysis, that is, analysis of the level of hotel accounting information systems, and used T-test and ANOVA to analyse the difference of the output information characteristics according to the typology level difference and to analyse the difference of the typology level of hotel accounting information systems by hotel grade, management style and business and resort hotel. The results of empirical analysis are as followings. In the test result of the typology level of hotel accounting information systems in Korea, the operational accounting information systems was established in 39 companies(45.3%) of total 86 sample hotel companies, and the operational accounting information systems and some extent of the management accounting information systems in 12 companies(14.0%) and the full management accounting information systems in 35 companies(40.7%). And in the relation between the typology level of hotel accounting information systems and output information characteristics, the difference is existed only significantly between the group 1 and group 2 in the information aggregation.
