In reality, when a small to medium size company adopts ERP system based on customized MES designed to run resource operation of large corporations, problems associated with use and maintenance frequently arise and many cases, its effectiveness and performance against investment are not clearly revealed. In order to prevent this problem, it is necessary to take a step by step approach when introducing information system in small to medium size companies and clearly understand the implementation process. This research proposes how to develop information system for small to medium size companies that can effectively collect and analyze data taking into account their business environment and human resources constraint.
