This study speculated on <Myonangjung30poems> by Haseo Kim In-hoo. Myonangjung is a pavilion made by Song Soon in the Joseon period which is located on Jewol-li, Bongsan-myon, Tamyang-gun, Jeonnam. It was a cradle for poets and calligraphers including Song Soon. The <Myonangjung30poems> sings of the wide view of the surrounding fields and mountains, focusing on the beauty of nearby and far off elements. This study explained the main sentiments of <Myonangjung30poems>. It is a collection of poems by four poets, Kim In-hoo, Go Gyong-myong, Im Uk-ryong and Park Soon. In particular, this study focused on poems by Haseo Kim In-hoo to explain his poetic eye.
First, this study looked into the beauty of the sights near <Myonang jung30poems>. It describes the beauty of sympathy, communication, integrity and brevity and sings of the harmony in the neighborhood of the pavilion. His poems show the harmony between things as well as a dynamic and vivid beauty.
Also, this study examined poems with integrity and brevity. joyous harmony and emphasis were described within brief structures. The poems sing of the internal state of the scholar in a noble and brief manner. They are short and moderate. His positive eyes toward nature are peaceful and tranquil.
Then, this study examined the spirit, grandeur and transcendental configuration of the pavilion"s neighborhood, and the author"s enchantment, focusing on the beauty of far off elements. They were expressed through the spirit and grandeur of the mountains. The pavilion is an axis to express the beauty of grandeur captured in the far off elements seen by the poet. Such fantastic beauty as well as the magnificence of the mountains are expressed simultaneously.
Then, this study looked at transcendental configuration and preoccupation. Through the poems with Zen-style elegance, Haseo sings of the characteristics of his enchantment. The transcendental configuration can be made through romance, fantasy and imagination. The beauty of enchantment was configured through friendliness and human feeling.
So far this study analysed the beauty of nearby and far off elements described in <Myonangjung30poems>. The beauty of nearby elements were expressed through sympathy, communication, integrity and brevity. The beauty of the far off elements were explained through the grand spirit and transcendental configuration of the mountains, and enchantment. The main integrity in his poems is made up of the peaceful and positive eyes of the scholar.
