Scroll compressors are widely used in the refrigeration fields because of its high reliability, high efficiency and low vibration compared to reciprocating compressors. One of the most important characteristics which scroll compressor has is that the shape of its wrap is involute of a circle. Many of the studies have treated the design problem of scroll wrap and problem of calculating pocket volumes which are formed by scroll wraps during suction, compression and discharge process. In this study, numerically integrating method for calculating the pockets volume in scroll compressor is introduced. By using this method, the exact calculation of suction chamber volume and any chamber volume with the perfect meshing profile (PMP) which is able to be represented in parameterized form is possible. One of the basic type of scroll profile is used for validating the numerical integrating method and it was showed that the numerically integrating method is fairly acceptable.
