The purpose of this study is to investigated creatine and homocysteine concentration change according to amino metabolism following resistance training. 24 male college students in their 20s to 30s, divided into resistance group(24.95±1.88years) and control group(24.46±1.13years). Resistance group performed high intensity exercise 6 times a week for 12 weeks. Body fat percent significantly decreased, but muscle mass significantly increased in resistance group. However, blood lipid factor related to cardiovascular diseases didn`t show significant changes after resistance training. Arginine, methionine, and homocysteine significantly decreased and ornithine and guanidine acetic acid increased while creatine was unchanged. Therefore, resistance exercise was effective to the plasma homocysteine concentration. However, despite the increase in muscle mass, creatine ingredient of the major component didn`t show significant changes, homocysteine were changed. Therefore, the mechanism of homocysteine on the change to be clarified by additional research can be presented as a case to be performed.
