A major flow of research method on the practical theology typically includes “analytical - practical paradigm” and “descriptive/empirical - interpretive - normative - pragmatic paradigm,” in order to criticize the “clerical paradigm” that Schleiermacher suggested and to overcome it. However, these flows have already been experienced diversely in the sociology of religion. From the point of view of the practical theology, theology/practical theology in the social science has been a subject of subordination rather than a subject of academic communication. For such this matter, it makes “truth of the Bible” to work on building “the frame of socio-scientific tool(or instrument)” in order to become “practical theology.” Then, it is interpreted with a view of “faithful and theological reflection” again, due to specifically not apply it as theoretically or practically in the actual ministry. Thus, “Methodological Theism” is the socio-scientific research method of the practical theology that is suggested in this thesis. It is an appropriate method for supporting and explaining the Scriptures as truth and Christianity world view. Also, this method is concretely an applicable, measurable approach for comprehending human being`s behavior and thought and for religiously strengthening or returning the humankind back to the truth. Through this method, I look forward to a systematic, diverse follow-up study which can be applicable to the practical theology(or theory) and to the actual ministry(or practice) from now on.
