This study is focused on the main articles and costumes used by the attendees during the wedding ceremony of Princess DeokOhn(德溫公主, 1822-1844) who was the third daughter of King Soonjo(純祖). The study investigates the shape and specific material of each article and costume worn by participants in the Myeonguinaechul Rite(命衣內出儀) as well as examining the overall costume worn by participants. Myeonguinaechul Rite was a ceremony held to send a ceremonial costume to Ui-seon Yun(尹宜善, 1823-1887) who was selected as the son-in-law of the king. The main articles used in Myeonguinaechul Rite included a ceremonial costume box(命服函) and Heukchiljiga(黑漆支架) prepared by Sanguiwon(尙衣院), candle Hongyukchok(紅肉燭) and candle Hongrachok(紅羅燭) prepared by Uiyounggo(義盈庫), Daechokdae(大燭臺) prepared by Gongjo(工曹), and a peony folding screen(牧丹屛風) and Gojoksang(高足床) prepared by Jeyonggam(濟用監). Inrogun(引路軍) belonging to Uijangso(衛將所) wore blue clothes, blue caps, blue cotton belts and Unhye(雲鞋). Soldiers who were carrying a ceremonial costume box on their back wore an official hat Samo with a patternless horn, a solid green single-layered ceremonial robe, a dark red wide belts and black boots. Civil official Danghagwan wore an official hat with a patternless horn and Heukdalryeong with single-crane-embroidered insignias on the breast and on the back. They also wore socks Jeong(精) and black boots, Soeundae(素銀帶), Heukgakdae(黑角帶) around their waist corresponding to the degree of their official ranks. Military official Danghagwan wore Heukdalryeong with single-tiger-embroidered insignias on the breast and on the back as well as Heukgakdae(黑角帶), socks Jeong, and black shoes. They also carried a sword on their left side.
