Purpose of this study is to identify the effects of communication between dance sports players and their passion for sports on partnership. The study surveyed 300 dance sports players via purposeful sampling in order to achieve the objective. 274 questionnaires were used in the study and the other 26 questionnaires were deemed inappropriate for the study. Analysis of data collected was performed via SPSS 18.0 for Window. Specific statistics methods were used including descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis.
The study produced partially significant results on communication between couples, passion for sports and partnership of dance sports players, based on the foregoing study methods and procedures. First, communication between dance sports couples had an effect on partnership. Sub-factors in which couple’s communication affect partnership are partner that I think and guessing what the partner thinks. Both sub-factors have significant relation with couple’s communication. Second, dance sports players’ passion for sports had an effect on partnership. Only harmonious passion among other sub-factors of passion for sports had significant relation with the partner that I think and guessing what the partner thinks, which are sub-factors of partnership. Obsessive passion did not have an effect on those sub-factors of partnership.
