Research Trends and Theme that Analysis from the Contents perspective on Science Exhibition in Korea : A Study on the Theorization of Science Exhibition
The importance of science popularization is increasing every day, to reflect this, it has also increased exhibitions of science-themed. Science exhibitions not only can show the material of science in different ways, thereby increasing interest, and creative inspiration in science beyond the educational aspects. Therefore the science exhibition, which is one of the effective way to understand the science is important, this study is to verify the domestic research trends in science exhibition-related, and to derive the science exhibition related research topics that should be added to analyze the flow of current research. The research method, scope and contents are as follows. I examined the theory that was used in science exhibition research, and then I studied the need on the theorization of science exhibition. For this reason, until now investigate the science exhibition related research that has been done in Korea, it was analyzed. The research that has been done in Korea, since 2003, been actively announcement and research papers have been published every year. Together with those that popularization of science has been carried out research in the field of science education, education-related papers in science exhibition areas such as non-formal education programs and curriculum correlation programs have been most announcement. In addition, the development of technology and media have been published papers about exhibition operations, exhibition techniques. However, the content itself, such as planning and characteristics of the exhibition, such as paper on the science contents, does not much research advanced compared to other areas. In the case of abroad, exhibition planning of a large framework, has been systematically studied. However, it recognizes the “science exhibition” as any one field, research of special planning for the field has not been studied. Research to access the science exhibition in their respective fields such as education and design, are plenty. However, research is insufficient for effective science exhibition planning and contents development. It is necessary to prepare a different systematic approach to the general exhibition it is recognized as a field in which the “science exhibition” for the sake of effective science exhibition planning and content development. In addition, the theorized work on science exhibition are required that is available on actual exhibition and research. To science content is transmitted to effectively deliver, study of the convergence of science and art have been added. There is a need for development professionals in this field. Consequently these finding suggest that is possible to understand the current state of continuously increased to have scientific exhibits respective national research not only research, scientific exhibition also is intended to provide important information. Also, it is possible to provide an opportunity to expand the horizon of scientific exhibition areas, it may be that there is meaning in the popularization and science education.
과학 대중화의 중요성은 나날이 커지고 있으며 이를 반영하여 과학을 주제로 한 전시도 증가하고 있다. 과학전시는 과학이라는 소재를 다양한 방법으로 보여줄 수 있고 교육적인 측면을 넘어 과학에 대한 흥미, 창의적인 영감 등을 증가시킬 수 있다. 과학을 이해하는 효과적인 방법 중 하나인 과학전시가 중요해짐에 따라 본 연구는 과학전시 관련 국내 연구 동향을 확인하고 현재 연구의 흐름을 분석하여 추가되어야 하는 과학전시 관련 연구 주제를 도출했다. 또한 과학전시 연구에 사용된 이론들을 살펴보고 과학전시 이론화의 필요성에 대해 연구했다. 이를 위해 지금까지 국내에서 진행된 과학전시 관련 연구들을 조사·분석하였다. 국내에서 진행된 과학전시 관련 연구는 2003년 이후 활발히 발표되었고 매년 많은 연구 논문들이 출판되고 있다. 과학의 대중화가 과학교육 분야에서 연구가 진행된 것과 맞물려 비정규 교육 프로그램이나 교과목 연계 등의 주제로 과학전시 분야에서도 교육관련 논문이 가장 많이 발표되었다. 그와 더불어 기술, 매체의 발달과 함께 전시운영, 전시기법에 관한 논문들이 발표되었으나 전시의 특성과 기획 등 내용자체, 내용의 구성 등에 관한 논문은 다른 분야에 비해 많은 연구가 진행되지 않았다. 국외의 경우에도 큰 틀에서의 전시 기획은 체계적으로 잡혀있으나 ‘과학전시’를 어떤 한 분야로 인식하고 그 분야에 대한 특별한 기획에 관한 연구는 진행되지 않았다. 과학과 전시를 각각의 분야에서 접근하는 연구는 많으나 효과적인 과학전시 기획 및 콘텐츠 개발을 위해서는 ‘과학전시’를 한 분야로 인식하고 일반적인 전시와는 다른 체계적인 접근과 준비가 필요하다. 또한 실제 전시와 연구에 사용가능한 과학전시에 관한 이론화 작업이 요구되며 과학 콘텐츠가 효과적으로 대중에게 전달되기 위해서는 과학과 예술의 융합에 대한 연구가 추가되어야 하고 이에 따른 전문가 양성이 필요하다. 이 결과는 계속적으로 증가하고 있는 과학전시 관련 국내 연구 현황을 파악하여 연구뿐만 아니라 과학전시에도 중요한 정보를 제공할 것이다. 또한 과학전시 분야의 지평을 확대하는 계기를 마련할 수 있으며 과학의 대중화와 과학교육에 있어서도 의미가 있다고 할 수 있다.
