It was necessary to study on dyeability of natural dyes by paste for variety of Korean natural dyeing fabrics. So, this study was to investigate K/S value and color difference of silk fabrics with the yellow dyes of extract concentration, mordants and mordanting method, penetration of paste, the effects of steaming and print bean juice from gardenia. Intensity of λ_max of yellow dyes with the extract concentration, mordants from gardenia was changeless in 44nm. The absorbancy was changed with mordants but not changed over 120g/l. K/S value of silk fabric was increased with Mordants and mordanting method, however, characteristic color was transformed. Compound pasted of rice and glutinous-rice was more useful than flour and CMC in defense paste dyeing because it has high penetration. And yet, the crack in high mixing rate of flour was more effective than wax. K/S value after print dyeing paste was CMC> sodium alginic acid> rice and glutinous-rice> flour and CMC. But, CMC and sodium alginic acid were more dry time, less equal dyeing than them. Steaming and print bean juice were valuable to enhance K/S value.
