The aims of this study are to analyse the types and distributions of Korean learners` SISR in their speech and conversation, and to figure out which the learners` emphasis on either the accuracy or the fluency when they speak Korean. The SISR was divided into two parts, overt repairs and covert repairs, and the two types of repairs were classified into ten different categories. The study was able to draw three conclusions from the results. First, interjection in self-talk and pause in conversation were the most appeared in this study. Second, ``describing the pictures in a certain order task`` was produced the mast SISR, and a pair with a male and a female produced SISR in the highest rate among other pairs. Finally, the study found cut that all the participants corrected their utterances focusing on accuracy rather than fluency.
