Report Errors
Ultrasonic welding is a solid-state welding process that can be used for multi-layered thin structures of lithium-ion battery. This welding methodology provides a good solution, using high frequency cyclic loading and transferring frictional energy into weld areas. To take advantage of the benefits of ultrasonic metal welding, it needs to understand the relationship between manufacturing factors(amplitude, pressure, weld time). This paper presents preliminary results for the effect of welding parameters on multi-layered thin structure. The welding strength.is determined to explore the weldability of the structure
