This study examines whether the variables of elderly women’s leisure constraints(i.e., intrinsic constraint, interpersonal constraint, structural constraint) and negotiation strategies(i.e., negotiation strategy of time management, skill acquisition, interpersonal, mony management) have a direct and/or an indirect significant effect on the variable of leisure satisfaction through the mediating effect of negotiation strategies variables. And also, the study is to verify the relative influences of the independent variables on the dependent variable of leisure satisfaction.
As a result of analyses, the variables of intrinsic constraint and structural constraint were found to have a direct negative effect on the variable of leisure satisfaction. Also the variable of interpersonal constraint was found to have an indirect significant negative effect on the variable of leisure satisfaction through the mediating effect of negotiation strategies variables. The negotiation strategies of time management, skill acquisition, interpersonal, mony management as the mediating variable also were found to have direct positive effects on the leisure satisfaction variable in a structural equation model. And the relative influences of the independent variables on the dependent variable of leisure satisfaction were appeared in the order of negotiation strategies (β=.302), structural constraint (β=-.174), and interpersonal constraint (β =.028).
The results of the study suggest that the policy makers should consider the factors of leisure constraints and negotiation strategies as effective and important means to enhance the elderly women’s leisure satisfaction. In addition, they should reflect the relative influences among the independent variables.

본 연구는 기존문헌을 토대로 여가만족에 영향을 주는 변수로 작용하고 있는 여가제약과의 인과적 관계 및 협상전략의 매개적 효과를 규명하는데 주안점을 두었다. 세부적으로 여가제약의 하위변수로는 내재적 제약, 대인적 제약, 구조적 제약을 구성하여 이들 변수가 여가만족에 미치는 영향력을 실증적으로 살펴보고자 하였으며, 시간관리, 기술습득, 대인관계, 금전관리와 관련된 협상전략이 매개변수로서 어떠한 영향력을 미치는지에 대해서 실증적으로 살펴보고자 하였다.
이를 위해 본 연구의 범위 및 방법으로서 2013년 10월 7일부터 15일까지 9일간 서울시 소재의 노인종합복지관의 이용자 330명을 연구대상으로 하여, 여가제약 및 협상전략과 여가만족과의 인과관계를 분석하고자 하였으며, 이를 위해 SPSS 20.0프로그램을 이용하여 요인분석과 다중회귀분석을 이용한 경로분석을 실시하였다.
분석결과 여가제약의 하위변수로서 내재적 제약, 대인적 제약, 구조적 제약 및 매개요인으로서 협상전략 모두 여가만족에 직접적 또는 간접적으로 영향력을 미치는 것이 실증적으로 입증되었다. 그중 대인적 제약은 직접적으로 유의미하지는 않았으나, 내재적 제약과 구조적 제약은 여가만족에 유의미한 직접적인 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되어 내재적 제약과 구조적 제약 수준이 높아지면 여성고령자들의 여가만족은 낮아질 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 매개 요인으로서 협상전략과 여가만족과의 관계를 분석한 결과, 기술습득 협상전략, 금전관리 협상전략, 대인관계 협상전략, 시간관리 협상전략 등과 같은 협상전략은 여가만족에 상대적으로 큰 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타남에 따라 여가만족도를 높이기 위해서는 여가제약 요인들을 확인하고 개선하는 것과 더불어 여가제약 요인에 대한 협상전략에 대한 노력을 많이 기울일수록 여성고령자들의 여가만족이 높아질 수 있음을 확인하였다.
결론적으로 여가제약은 여성고령자의 여가만족에 영향을 주는 요인이며, 아울러 협상전략 또한 매개변수로서 영향력을 미치는 것이 실증적으로 드러났다. 이에 따라서 여성고령자들이 만족스러운 여가생활을 누릴 수 있도록 구조적 여가제약과 대인적 여가제약, 내재적 여가제약 요인들을 감소시키고, 협상전략을 향상시키는 개인적 노력 및 정책적 방안이 필요함을 제시하였다.
