Korea’s National rental housing has been constantly developed in terms of quantity. However, social isolation and a sense of ownership in Public rental housing has been a problem since the mid 2000s, and vitalization of the communities is being emphasized as the solution. Nevertheless, studies on community programs in Public rental housing is insufficient. The purpose of this study is to analyze community revitalization and to classify community programs to observe their features. For this purpose, methodology literature reviews and interviews with the management staff are conducted. The targets are 16 National rental housing apartment complexes whose communities have been actively vitalized for the last two years. The key findings were as follows; 1)The complexes had sufficient welfare programs including community services, healthcare and exercise, education and childcare. 2)Almost all the apartment complexes’ operating expenses have been supported from external organizations. 3)Most of the community leader were administration office managers and the residents were only following them.
