Recently, As the low birth rate and retirement of the baby boomers, The demand of the compact housing has increased with increasing 1~2 person households. Unit modular architecture and prefab construction has emerged as the new construction methods in korean construction market. As the construction workforce has been reduced in on-site, the construction quality has been degraded. the modular and prefab construction is off-site construction system. modular unit made in the factory and after that, transport modular housing unit to on-site. the modular house maintain the quality of condition in factory. first, So, we need to analyze the technology of modular in korea, japan, england, etc. and we think about the progressive measures of modular housing. second, we need to research the Industrialized housing recognition system and think about the advantages and problems that would be happen. after that, we make ideas for direction about improvement and progressive measures of modular housing for industrialized housing recognition system. we especially research about the legal system, quality, performance, recognition about the industrialized housing.
