The purpose of this paper is to examine how Korean degree adverbs change in pragmatic situations. Degree adverbs are used very much in pragmatic situations, though other ones are used in a different way and a high probability of a speaker`s subjective viewpoint being intervened. Because of this, the meaning of the degree adverbs changes easily. The pragmatic state of degree adverbs reveals meaning and form, the change of sound, and the characteristics of oral language. The change of meaning shows a new meaning based on a prototypical meaning, the change of form reveals contraction, addition, and repetition, and the change of sound shows a strong sound, stress, and a long sound. In this paper I reviewed these adverbs such as `jom(좀)`, `neomu(너무)`, `jeongmal class(정말류)`, `eoksuro(억수로)`, `mani(많이)`. The adverb `jom(좀)` meaning `little` has changed to mean `asking`, and the one `neomu(너무)` meaning `negative degree` to mean `positive emphasis`, the one `jeongmal class(정말류)` meaning `truth` has changed to mean emphatic degree adverb, and the one `eoksuro(억수로)` miming `the amount of rain` to mean `emphatic degree adverb`, Finally the one `mani(많이)` meaning `the degree of amount and number` has changed to mean `degree of state`.
