The purpose of the study was to find the scene by the perception of the space and analysis of the characteristics of the space according to the sequence. The data for the analysis was collected through questionnaire survey method form March 14 to 19, 2013, and the sample consisted to 70 respondents. The questionnaire is composed of scene selection on the panoramic photographs of the exhibition space. Also the subjects were chosen the 4 Rivers Cultural Center ‘The ARK’.
The results were as follow : 1) The perception of the Space perceived imaged scene rather than the specific elements of space. 2) The Scene perception is revealed through the ‘form’, ‘materials’, ‘light’, ‘lighting’, ‘furniture’, ‘media’ of notable elements. Also that was perceived by forming ‘line’, ‘surface’, ‘volume’. 3) The perception of ‘surface’ was higher than ‘line’ and ‘volume’. And ‘surface’ was perceived through the ‘form’.
