The purpose of this paper was to find the housing aspiration of single detached house and multi-family housing residents. Social survey research using questionnaire was conducted by stratified sampling especially Gang buk-gu, No won-gu and Sung buk-gu residents. 99 data were collected from November 31th to December 5th by face to face. SPSS 20.0 was used for statistical analysis using frequency, t-test, ANOVA. Major findings were as follows : Firstly, housing satisfaction was below average and both housing residents’s satisfaction showed statistically significant difference (p<.05) by the group. Secondly, All factors of housing aspiration showed more than average level and showed statistically significant difference (p<.05) between single detached and multi-family housing residents.
In conclusion, the policy must be compromised between housing aspiration and real housing condition in the process of housing supply for the residents’s satisfaction.
