The Johnson-Mehl-Avrami-Kolmogorov(JMAK) model describes the recrystallization kinetics of metals during thermal-mechanical processing with average grain size. The normal variation and uncertainties in the material and the processing conditions during forming will result in distribution of grain size. This paper aims at to predict the distribution of grain size, especially ALA grain size which can be used as an indicator for fatigue life, rather than average value via Monte Carlo simulation.
