The purpose of the aviation medical examination is to determine that no physical or mental condition exists which may reduce the applicant’s medical fitness to a significant degree during the period of validity of the medical assessment. An examiner is a designated representative of the government administrator with important duties and responsibilities. We analyzed the result of aviation medical examination in 2014 and investigated the common diseases of special issuance and denial of a medical certificate.
