This study was to investigate the effect on the body composition and the physical fitness that is worked by the hypodermic fat. In oder to study, we got 90 of the 144 female students, who resides in Pusan area, divided into the under-weight, the normal-weight, and the over-weight group according to he hypodermic fat rate. And then they were inquired with four item of the body composition and six item of physical fitness. After producing the average and standard deviation, and operating the unitary variable analysis to verify the mean deviation we could find the conclusions as follows. 1. The hypodermic fat quantity and hypodemic fat percentage showed the significant difference by the oder of the over-weight, the normal-weight, and the under-weight group in the body composition classified with hypodermic fat. In agility and lbm, the under-weight and normal-weight group was significantly higher than the over-weight group. 2. In the muscular strength, the normal-weight was significantly higher than the under-weight in the physical fitness classified with hypodermic fat. The muscular endurance was significantly higher with order of the under-weight, normal-weight, and over-weight. In the muscular power, the under-weight was significantly higher than the normal-weight and the over-weight. In the balance there were no significant difference in statistics. In agility, the under-weight and the normal-weight was significantly higher than the over-weight. In flexibility, the under-weight and the normal-weight, over-weight was not significantly difference. Therefore, there was a tendency that the higher the hypodermic fat was, the lower the physical fitness in the group of the over-weight, the normal-weight and the under-weight. So, it was recommended that teenagers should improve their physical fitness and decrease their hypodermic fat rate with diet, etc. Also, it was important for us to understand exactly the hypodermic fat rate of the female students, and needs preventing fatness with the exercise program and the diet.
